Hi there! Thanks for checking in on me…I’m still alive. I have been taking a summer break as you may have already noticed. I’ll be back after the school year starts up though. ;) Hope you all are enjoying the summer!
I’ve seen everyone using this adorable set and I had to buy it with the matching DP…finally, I got to break it in this weekend! Whoohoo! I was going for quantity versus quality this time…it always makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something after having weeks of no stamping! ;) I used Crystal Effects on all the fruit - makes a big difference although you can’t tell very well in the pictures. My first card was inspired by Dawn @ Treasure Oilers Designz and then I went crazy from there. Dawn is one serious stamper and soooo inspiring! If you have not seen her work, you must!

These beauties came from my BF Liz along with a few little cuttlebug folders. She totally sold me on the fabulous flower set too…it’s officially on my list for the next order! I love how simple and elegant it looks and I’m all about simple! ;)
The second card is the wonderful double pocket card with a matching bookmark. I’ve seen these everywhere too and have yet to try one out…so hard for me to use a whole sheet of DP on 1 card. Isn’t it great though?! I love those big eyelets she added too…so pretty! Thanks Liz!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

I recieved this beautiful RAK in the mail from Deb after my very LONG week. Isn’t it great?! I love everything about it…the colors, embossing, piercing and DP are all super cute! Click HERE to see more wonderful creations in her SCS gallery! Thanks Deb, you sure know how to brighten my day! ;)
I was hoping to use some of the new goodies from my last order, but haven’t had time. UGH! I did catch up on some blogs though…at least I did something stamp related today! ;) hehe!

Sorry I’ve been MIA…my in-laws were here this past week for a visit. I usually do not stamp when we have company, but I had a little free time and it was out of necessity. I needed to make some cards for my DS teacher since she’s having a birthday on Monday. I finally used my Elegant Inspirations set and thought it worked great with the Carte Postale bird. I wish I had more time to put into them though. I’m hoping to do some catch up this week! Ugh!

Okay, one more shout out and a birthday card for my BF Liz. I could tell stories all day long here, but let’s just say that we are the best of friends. She knows what I’m thinking without me even saying a word. She’s there for me whenever and wherever, good times and bad. She ALWAYS makes me laugh…almost to the point of peeing my pants! ;) She’s kind, thoughtful, caring, giving, encouraging…the list goes on and on.
Liz, I don’t need to tell you how wonderful you are…you already know! You are definitely a ‘one of a kind’ friend! Happy Birthday to you! Love ya!

My dear friend Jessica has a birthday today…so I wanted to give her a little shout out…I can do that since I have a blog, right?! LOL! My stamping addiction started with her and I passed it on to my friends. Unfortunately, she isn’t home to get her birthday package, so I thought I’d post her card. This was the original card I made with the always set.
Jessica you’ve been such a wonderful friend and I hope you have a great birthday today! You are missed!

I finally had some time last week to catch up on challenges…but now I’m behind again! LOL! Anyways, I added this card to my monthly class - last minute of course…I think they liked it?! ;) I used the color challenge CC159 and LOVE this combo! I’m going to be so sad when the IN-colors are OUT. :(
This card was made for Beate’s WSC41. I kept it simple since I just wanted to say I did the challenge since I haven’t had much time. LOL! I think I’ll go back and create another for this one.
This card uses Beate’s WSC39 along with CC124 (pretty in pink, regal rose & old olive). This set is spring solicitude and I had so much fun with this card! I added a little dazzling diamonds and a few extra leaves and done!
This one is for Beate’s WSC42 rotated. I haven’t used the bugs for a while, so decided to pull them out since I had a few kids bdays coming up soon. (This bug card came first). Not sure if I like how it turned out, but it’ll do. ;)
I’m hoping to do more stamping soon! ;) Thanks for stopping by!

I can’t seem to post these fast enough. This card was sent by a dear old friend that I introduced into the stamping realm. She doesn’t get much time to play, so getting a card from her is like winning the lottery! ;) LOL! She also brought me a birthday cake since she found out that I didn’t get one. How sweet is that?! Thanks Selina!
Here’s another from Selina…2 cards in 1 week…WOW! ;) The bright colors are so fun and cheerful. Thanks again!
My dear friend Shannon sent me this beauty all the way across the country. ;) Canada to Texas is a long way! I love the colors and the beautiful layout of these tulips. Thank you Shannon for thinking of me!
This awesome RAK came from my dear friend Deb. She sent me lots of yummy treats from lotion and bath salts to lip balm and chocolates…not to mention all the lovely paper crafts and a beautiful bday card. Deb, you are too generous and too sweet! Thank you so much!
You guys are all soooo sweet! Thanks for thinking of me! ;)

I’m having another class this weekend and needed to come up with some Mother’s day stuff! I’m giving everyone a sheet of rub-ons to play with, a candle and a few cards to make. I kept this first card kinda simple so they can use the rub-ons to decorate it…you get the idea. The back layer is old olive…sorry, it was hard to get a good pic of the acetate card.
Stamps: wonderful favorites
Paper: old olive, pretty in pink, white
Ink: old olive, pretty in pink
Accessories: acetate, votive, love & happiness rub-ons
For this next card, I had to use my new set Always…love it! I used Beate’s WSC40 for this one. Nothing too fancy here since I didn’t have a whole lot of stamping time this month. I was hoping to do a nice technique, but that didn’t happen this time. Oopsy!
Stamps: always
Paper: DP fall flowers, soft sky, old olive, grey
Ink: old olive, soft sky
Accessories: scallop & circle punches, corner rounder, hand punch
Sure hope they like ‘em! Thanks for stopping by!

Okay, so I guess this is the new thing for me…just posting randomly. I just can’t belive how crazy it’s been…life sure gets in the way of stamping! LOL! ;) I actually made time to stamp, but will post those after I give credit for these awesome BRAKs from my friends. My Bday was the 2nd of this month and I had a nice afternoon with my BF Liz. We enjoyed a nice lunch and a little shopping afterwards. Spending time with friends is always so nice and she always spoils me. Thanks Liz! Birthdays around my house are pretty low key…so it was just another day…good thing I treated myself to those sunglasses! LOL!
This first is a Bday card from my BF Liz. I love the DP on here and the spiral detail…too cute! Thanks Liz!
This next one came from my friend Deidre…we got her hooked on stamping too! Who wouldn’t love this berry bliss birthday card?! It has lots of my favorite elements. Thanks D!
This next card came from my friend Jessica…along with some other goodies she sent me below.
a cute package of jelly beans, the papercrafts 101 magazine and an awesome altered board book!
Thanks so much…you guys are so thoughtful and I’m so glad to have such wonderful friends! Love ya!

Okay, so I have not stamped yet…but I have some wonderful RAKs to show off! ;) As you may know, I’ve been suffering with this sinus crap for weeks and last night I got chills and a fever that lasted through this morning. I went into the DR this afternoon and of course, I have a sinus infection! Go figure!
Anyways, these beautiful RAKs sure made me feel so much better! ;) This first one is from my dear friend Jessica. I love how she used the flower pot as an Easter basket…so creative! Thanks Jess!
The next is from my BF Liz. This was so cute with the different pattern papers and metallic paper. Thanks Liz!
Another card from Jessica…I feel special! ;) I still love this doodle set and she makes it look so pretty! Love the piercing and the lightly stamped background. Thank you, again!
This next card was such a wonderful surprise! It’s a BRAK from Leanne aka mountainstamper on SCS. Check out her super cute creations here. I guess you sign up to send out RAKs, but never expect to actually get one! Thank you so much for the super cute card and greeting! It totally made my day!
My Bday is this Wed and I’ve already treated myself to a nice pair of Coach sunglasses! ;) hehe! I’m now going to take my meds and knock myself out! Hope you all have a wonderful week! ;)

I’ve been working on some Easter treats and didn’t want to post them until they were received, but then you’d have nothing to see here. So, I just won’t tell who these were sent to. ;) hehe! I am such a nimrod…I was going to send packages out in the mail Thurs evening, but ‘thought’ that there was no mail delivery today. Obviously, I was wrong…so some of the packages could have made it to their destination before Easter. Doh! Oh well…maybe next year!
On to the good stuff…I’ve seen these little baskets on SCS and had to try one…or several! ;) Since I do not have a big selection of Easter stamps, I decided to use the little chick that my friend gave me on most of these. Thanks to Beate for showing me the small square cards…I’ve had fun making these and they go perfectly with the size of the treat basket.
Stamps: polka dots & paisleys
Paper: DP petals & paisley, tempting turquoise, so saffron, old olive, pretty in pink
Ink: tempting turquoise, so saffron, certainly celery, pretty in pink
Accessories: scallop & circle punches, crimper
Stamps: Michael’s dollar, think happy thoughts
Paper: DP linen prints, regal rose, chocolate chip
Ink: regal rose, chocolate chip, appricot appeal
Accessories: scallop & circle punches, ribbon
Stamps: be happy, michael’s dollar
Paper: so saffron, only orange, certainly celery, black
Ink: black, only orange, so saffron
Accessories: blender pen, scallop & circle punches
I made a treat box to go with this one too…but forgot to take a picture. Ugh! I’ll blame it on the whole head congestion thing…which is STILL going on with all of us. I’ve been trying to keep up with my spring cleaning too…baseboards, windows, blinds and ceiling fans are done. I’ll say I’m finished for now so I can enjoy the rest of my weekend/spring break! Why clean today what you can clean tomorrow, right?! LOL! Hope everyone has a blessed Easter!

I recently got nominated for this award from a very sweet blogging friend - Nancy at iSTAMP I’m sure you’ve all been there and seen her wonderful creations…if not GO NOW! Nancy, Thank you for thinking of me!
Now, I can’t possibly pick people to pass this to…if you visit my blog, then you make my day and if you leave me comments, then you REALLY make my day! We all know there are not enough hours in the day to stamp and blog, so it means a lot to know you stopped by to visit me! ;)
